The city of Nantes is the capital of the Pays de la Loire region with approximately 310,000 inhabitants within its city limits. The city is easily accessible from several cities by train (about 2h from Paris, 4h30 from Lyon, 5h from Nancy, 4h from Lille, 6h20 from Marseille, 4h30 from Bordeaux). Located in the city center, along the banks of the Loire River, Nantes train station is just a short walk away from many hotels of all categories, restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions.
The conference will take place at La Halle 6 Ouest the interdisciplinary center for digital cultures at Nantes University, located at 42, rue de la Tour d'Auvergne, 44200 Nantes, in the heart of the city. This innovative venue, dedicated to research and digital projects, is just a few minutes away from Place Royale, a landmark square in Nantes, and close to the Château des Ducs de Bretagne and the Nantes History Museum.
The Halle 6 Ouest is well served by several lines of Nantes Métropole's public transport network (buses and trams). The Naolib Tram lines T1, T2, and T3, as well as several bus lines, stop nearby, especially at the "Université - La Halle 6 Ouest" stop. However, as it is located in the city center, we strongly recommend walking to the venue, as it allows you to enjoy the city’s atmosphere. There is also a Bicloo bike-sharing system nearby for quick and eco-friendly travel.
